And the winner is …

On Friday myself and my team had the absolute honour of attending the Scarborough borough council STARS awards. We were nominated in 3 categories and we only went and won!! We were winners for the Above and Beyond award and received special commendation for Innovation.

The stage is set at Scarborough Spa - beautiful dressing and a fantastic venue

It was lovely to have recognition for our hard work. It is nice to see how our work impacts the community and colleagues we serve. It was a fantastic afternoon. However, it was cut short for us as duty called and we had to visit some clients. I would have got more photos otherwise.

The Stars team did an amazing job at organising such a lovely event. It was truly lovely to support our council colleagues and pass on praise to the brilliant people we work with. I won't even hold it against them that I didn't win anything on the raffle 😂😂
